Last January 20 we had a rare snowstorm (2 inches) in Wilmington, North Carolina. Since it only snows here about every 8 or 10 years, it’s a big deal for the local residents. Schools close, as do most businesses and everyone gets outside to enjoy the winter scenery. This photo was taken during the height of the “blizzard.”

  1. Lovely. I like how the photo is almost black and white. Nice contrast between the dark shdows and white snow!

  2. Beautiful winter shot.

  3. Wonderful wintry shot. Did you enjoy the snow! We had 20 inches here in Maryland.
