This photo was taken last month at Wrightsville Beach, NC, at Johnny Mercer’s Pier. Hurricane Bill was traveling by at the time, so the waves were a little higher than usual.

  3. This is an awesome shot. It actually sends shivers down my spine. I’m afraid of water, and I can tell there is a lot of power in those waves. I like the sailboat off in the distance.

    There are so many participants in Watery Wednesday that many good photos, like this one, may be missed. I, myself, have commented on 25 so far, but I think I’m going to be soon! LOL!
