The German Cafe

The German Cafe is a jewel in the heart of downtown Wilmington, NC. For over twenty years, they have been serving the finest German cuisine in the Southeast. Made from recipes brought over from Germany in the 1950’s, the dishes include Jager Schnitzel, Wiener Schnitzel, potato pancakes and many wonderful, decadent desserts.

They are located in the Cotton Exchange, in a renovated cotton warehouse circa 1860. The exposed beams and lovely, old brickwork  adds an Old World charm to the unique dining experience.
